Golf League Software

Golf League Software in ChatGPT and Claude

Tell ChatGPT or Claude what happened on the course. It enters the card hole by hole, and Golf League Software works out net scores, points and the standings with your league’s own rules, the same way the app does.

What you can do

  • Enter scores: read out a card ("Owen went 4 5 3 5 4 4 3 5 5 tonight") and it goes in hole by hole. Gross, net, the night’s points and the season standings update straight away.
  • Correct a card: changing strokes already entered shows exactly what changes, and the new net, before anything is saved.
  • Results and standings: a night’s results by flight, the season standings, and any golfer’s card hole by hole, shotgun starts included.
  • Players and handicaps: the roster with each golfer’s flight and tee today, their handicap history, and the league estimate from their rounds (a comparison only, never an official handicap).
  • Run the league (admins): schedule nights, open and close scoring, add golfers, update handicaps, make join codes, and change the format, flights, points or course.

Who can do what

The connector uses your role in each league, exactly as the app does. Players see their league and keep their own card while a night is open for scoring. Scorers enter and correct anyone’s card while a night is open. Admins run the league and can correct any night at any time. It only ever sees the leagues you belong to, never golfers’ contact details, and it can’t change your account.

Anything that changes what’s already there, like correcting a card, editing a night or a golfer, or changing the league’s format, is shown to you first and waits for your yes.

How to connect

You need a Golf League Software account: golfers make one in the app with their league’s join code, and organizers when they start a league.

  1. ChatGPT: open Settings → Apps & Connectors, turn on Developer mode under Advanced settings, then create a connector named Golf League Software with the URL https://golfleaguesoftware.com/mcp and OAuth sign-in.
  2. Claude: open Settings → Connectors, choose Add custom connector, and paste the URL https://golfleaguesoftware.com/mcp.
  3. A Golf League Software page opens. Sign in with your app account and press Allow.
  4. Ask in your own words. The assistant finds your league, nights and golfers by name.

Things to ask

  • Enter Owen Brooks’s card for tonight: 4 5 3 5 4 4 3 5 5.
  • Hole 9 for Casey should be a 7, not a 5. Fix it.
  • Who won flight A tonight, and how do the season standings look?
  • Show me Marcus Tran’s handicap history.
  • Schedule next Thursday’s night on the back nine and open it for scoring.
  • Add Priya Shah with a 14.2 handicap and make a one-use scorer code for her.

Disconnecting

Remove the connector in ChatGPT or Claude. To end every connection at once, sign in at /connect and choose Sign out everywhere; that also signs you out of the app. What the connector receives and keeps is in the privacy policy.

Directories

Golf League Software isn’t listed in the ChatGPT or Claude directories yet, which is why ChatGPT needs Developer mode for now. This page will say when it is.
