# Golf league software that does the math.

> Golf league software for organizers: hole-by-hole scoring on your phone, automatic flights, net points and season standings. Built for nine-hole twilight and 18-hole leagues.

Canonical: https://golfleaguesoftware.com

Scores go in hole by hole on your phone. Flights, net points and season standings work themselves out, and your whole league can check them. Built for Tuesday-night nine-hole leagues and 18-hole leagues alike.

Built with a 120-golfer Tuesday-night men’s league. iPhone app in testing.

## Season standings (A flight)

| # | Player | Nights | Avg net | Points |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 1 | Marcus T. | 12 | 33.9 | 112.5 |
| 2 | Ravi P. | 13 | 34.4 | 108 |
| 3 | Dale K. | 11 | 34.1 | 101.5 |
| 4 | Owen B. | 12 | 35.2 | 96 |
| 5 | Theo L. | 13 | 35.8 | 91 |

Sample data. Points: field size minus place plus one, ties split.

## What it does

Everything between the first tee and the standings sheet.

### Hole-by-hole scoring on the course

Scorers enter each hole on their phone in the order their group plays it, shotgun starts included. No more collecting cards in the clubhouse.

### Flights that sort themselves

Use the club’s flights, pin a player by hand, or rank by handicap: 30 players a flight, or equal flights. Tees follow the flight, with age exceptions.

### Net points, worked out for you

Net scores use each golfer’s handicap on the night, and points go by finishing place in their flight. Ties split evenly, just like your spreadsheet did.

### Season standings everyone can check

Points, nights played, best and average net, updated the moment a night is posted. Players see where they stand without texting the organizer.

### History that never shifts

Every round keeps the handicap, flight and tee it was played with, and every season keeps its own rules. Changing something today never rewrites last June.

### Front nine vs back, toughest holes

Stats your league will actually argue about: who scores better on the back, and which holes cost the most strokes this season.

## How a league night works

Three steps, every week.

1. **Set up your league.** Pick a format, enter your course’s scorecard and paste in your roster with handicaps.
2. **Score the night.** Open the night for scoring. Scorers enter holes on their phones as groups play.
3. **Post the results.** Close the night. Results, points and standings go out to the whole league.

## Your format, not ours

Set the rules once. They stay with the season.

- 9 or 18 holes
- Net or gross
- Flights by rank, equal split, or none
- Points by place or your own table
- Ties split or shared
- Count every night or the best few
- Front, back or all 18 each night
- Handicap allowance

## Golf league software, answered.

### What is golf league software?

It replaces the scorecards, spreadsheets and group texts a league organizer juggles every week. Scores go in hole by hole, and the software works out net scores, flights, points and season standings, then shares them with the league.

### Does it handle flights and net scoring?

Yes. Flights can come from the club, be set by hand, or be worked out from handicaps, for example 30 players per flight. Net scores use the handicap at the time of the round, so past weeks never change when handicaps do.

### Can scores be entered on the course?

Yes. Scorers enter each hole on their phone in the order their group plays it, including shotgun starts, and the leaderboard updates as cards come in.

### Which league formats does it support?

Nine-hole twilight leagues and 18-hole leagues, net or gross, points by finishing place within each flight or across the whole field, ties split evenly or shared, and seasons that count every night or only a player’s best nights.

### Does it calculate official handicaps?

No. Official handicaps come from your club or golf association, and the league uses those. The software also shows a league estimate from recent rounds, so you can compare, but it never replaces the official number.

### Who can see our league?

You choose. A league can be private to its members, shared by link only, or public. Public pages show players as first name and last initial by default, never contact details, and any player can hide their name.
